Health & Safety Guidelines

In response to the recent CDC guidance regarding indoor events, patrons are no longer required to wear a mask upon entering the building.

The theater continues to encourage the wearing of masks for all who choose to do so.

The policy takes effect immediately and will be reviewed periodically relative to COVID cases in Summit County.

Patrons who are not feeling well are asked to stay home.

330 Day Concert

330 Day Concert
Thursday, March 30, 2023 at 7:00PM

Akron, OH – Join The Summit FM for the 6th annual “330 Day Concert”-- an eclectic and powerful evening of acoustic music – on Thursday, March 30, 2023 at Goodyear Theatre in Akron, Ohio. This free evening of music will shine a spotlight on 23 of Akron’s finest bands and artists all on one stage for one night only. The Summit will also be making an excitement announcement on-stage during the show.

More Info here: https://thesummit.fm/

This unique event is free and open to the public and will feature stripped-down, acoustic performances from a veritable who’s who of Akron area musicians, including Ben Gage, Benny Lava & The Guavas, Bethany Joy, Big Pop, Blue Hour, Buffalo Ryders, Jeff Klemm, Jen Maurer, JT's Electrik Blackout, Katy Robinson, Madison Cummins, Marc Lee Shannon, Michael Weber, Ohio Weather Band, Rami Feinstein, Shelby Olive, The Kidney Brothers, The Shootouts, Theron Brown, Tracey Thomas, Yankee Bravo, and a special performance from Akron Public Schools Miller South students.

The Goodyear Theatre stage will be split in half for this event, offering two side-by-side performance spaces. While one group is performing, another will set up on the opposite side of the stage. The stage lights will alternate back and forth as each act plays one acoustic song. The event is being produced by The Shootouts lead singer and Summit 330 Concert Coordinator Ryan Humbert.

In 2015, the cities of Akron, Youngstown and Canton officially designated March 30 as “330 Day” on behalf of The Summit, and their local-music-only radio station, The330.net. This year, the “330 Day Concert” will spotlight the Akron region of the Summit listening area.

Summit members will receive preferred seating for this event and can RSVP via an invitation-only event link.

Doors open at 6:00pm with music starting at 7:00pm. Admission is free with a $10 suggested donation and all ages are welcome. Goodyear Theatre is located 1201 E Market St, Akron, OH 44305.
